Kylie Wilkie will launch her  first book, Memories are Forever, with you.   Sunday 15 December 3pm – 4pm at Paper Bird Children’s Books and Arts – Fremantle

Memories are Forever is a wonderfully written and illustrated book that teaches us all that we must celebrate the lives of those we lose and have those difficult conversations with our children that we often avoid.

Kylie says “I am constantly reminded that life doesn’t follow a plan, and there is no better example of this than when my first husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2012. A year on, I found myself thirty years old and widowed with a six-month-old daughter.

My books take an insightful, humorous and heart-felt look at issues affecting us all. My aim is to inspire conversations with children and encourage them to speak up about their worries, wins, hopes and dreams”.
