Sarah Haythornthwaite
Clinical Psychologist

Sarah Haythornthwaite has been working as a Clinical Psychologist for 20 years, in a variety of settings – in the public sector, within Aboriginal health services and privately. Sarah enjoys working across the lifespan, with adults, young people, children and families.
Sarah is registered with the Psychologists’ Board of AHPRA, with endorsed area of practice Clinical Psychology, and she is also a Psychologists’ Board endorsed Clinical Supervisor. Sarah has been a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) throughout her career.
Sarah draws on a number of evidence based theoretical perspectives to inform her therapeutic work. The strong foundation of her practice has been cognitive behavioural therapy, but she is also informed by perspectives such as developmental theories, interpersonal understandings, systemic and family therapy and narrative therapy.
